Abstract submission

The conference will be held in a hybrid mode allowing for both offline and online participation. The authors of accepted abstracts will have a choice to present their oral /poster presentations on-line, or on site in Novosibirsk. A computer, projectors/beamers and screens will be available for all presentations, and live oral presentations will be conducted through Zoom. Oral presentations are 15-20 minutes, which includes a 10-15-minute presentation and 5 minutes for questions and discussion. Posters representing a concise and short summary of your research must be printed in A0 size in portrait orientation. Poster presentations (printed out) will be placed in the conference hall or displayed (e-poster in PDF format) within our virtual conference website.

The deadline for abstracts submission is February 25, 2022. Russian and English will be the conference working languages. The Organizing Committee makes a decision on the paper inclusion in the conference program will upon accepting the paper for publication, about which each participant will be notified. Materials submitted to the Conference should report original results and not be published previously. Upon submission to the Organizing Committee, the paper will be checked for plagiarism. Similar type of work from the same authors will be rejected.

The abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings on as is basis. Authors are strongly advised to have their papers grammar/ spell checked. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to deny papers in the case of their non-compliance with the recommended design template, exorbitant borrowings, or abundance of grammatical or spelling errors.

Please, follow the rules below to prepare the paper for submission:

1. We strongly recommend to use the suggested template to prepare your paper for submission to the conference;
2. Maximum length of the paper is 3 pages of A4 format, including tables;
3. Abstract should not exceed 700 characters;
4. The main text may be divided into sections. In this case, section subheadings should be highlighted in bold;
5. Figures in .jpg, .pdf and other formats with a resolution of 300 dpi, created within a Microsoft Word document must be submitted in black and white (grayscale) version, the exceptions are photos of thin sections, geological and other maps, which may be in color. The font size on figures should be at least 10 pt. Pictorial illustrations may be used if they are relevant to the text and make it more concise. Figure captions are embedded in the text of the paper. Tables are created within the body of the paper. Use the built-in formula editor for equations and formulas;
6. Papers (.rtf) are submitted to the Organizing Committee via the conference website or by email; the file name should specify the author’s surname and initials and the selected type of report (oral or poster), for example, IvanovPS_oral.rtf or PetrovAV_poster.rtf.
